Personality; Superficially cheerful with a side order of airheaded. Inwardly conflicted but driven to outshine all the responsibility she carries on her shoulders, of which there is much. Kururu wants something to make her life as a Tuner worth something; she feels useless for anything except perceiving things she isn't needed to do. She tries not to think about it all that much, but it eats at her.
Background; Heir apparent to the title of Pledge Queen of Tool Toul To, daughter of the A-T manufacturer Sirius Corporation. Unexpected friend of Itsuki 'Ikki' Minami, and his prearranged tuner for his eventual succession as Wind King. She's an undeniable genius, capable of glimpsing the Infinite Scale upon which Tool Toul To bases its successful tuning without straining, and it's for this that she is prized by all. All except Ikki, who treated her like a human being and someone worth caring for and befriending before he ever considered her as a Tuner.
Note; Words in italics represent when Kururu is singing; she keeps perfect pitch, and can play harmony with just about anyone. It's a gift.

Kururu is a member of the Air Treck (A-T) team Tool Toul To, though she did not set out to be and due to her status within the group is sometimes not sure she really wants the membership. None of the members of Tool Toul To ride A-T; they don't have to. They are the tuners of the A-T world, maintaining, monitoring, and improving the performance of the equipment used in parts wars and the like. They offer their services to all without discrimination, but only the best of the best can earn their own personal Tuner; these Riders and Tuners have a relationship closer than love, more intimate than any amount of sex could possibly provide. Tuners are meant to do anything their Riders require to perfect their performance. Anything.
Tool Toul To is made up entirely of women (with two exceptions: Rune and Kururu's cousin, Kanon). All of them attend a Catholic school for girls. This is their cover and this is how they gain new members. They're very good singers. They hold good tunes.
